My job is to look after our social media channels. This includes our Facebook fan page, our Twitter account and our corporate blog. I also work on our FAQs and all text on our website with my colleague Meike. We try to make the product as easy as possible for everyone. One of my more recent projects is to create screencasts. These are tutorial videos that explain all the different features on simfy. What I like most about my work environment is that I have direct contact to our customers, from which I can take a lot of feedback and ideas as input for our product. Another great thing is that I always have the latest releases from the industry before anyone else.
A really important aspect is: Music doesn't distract from working. Rather it motivates people!
Everyone at simfy has great ideas for new features and cooperations. It's a pity that not everything can be implemented straight away. But we are still on it!
I was pretty surprised of the diversity of my tasks when I first started as an intern. I was given a lot of responsibility and was able to contribute all my ideas. From the position as an intern I quickly went to a student employment and after a while I was offered the position as a full time job. I am very grateful for the opportunity to start working for a dynamic company such as simfy straight after university. I contribute my ideas and always find co-workers supporting them. Also professional development and training it is in high value to my managers, so that I can take part in seminars to contribute even more relevant ideas.
I would like to stay definitely with simfy in the future. There is a lot of activity in the German music industry. Music streaming is having a big change at the moment and more and more new companies are emerging. There is more competition, which means new input and ideas for features are required.
I am looking forward to the future of and with simfy!

As a product manager you have to be a pioneer at the same time. You have to dear yourself into taking risks and creating something fresh and new. I've been pretty good at it so far. Right now I am responsible for the iPhone App, Android App and the Blackberry App to be fully operational and always be up to date. In my time that I have spent working for simfy I have learnt that work with responsibilities can be fun as well. The way I measure and monitor these key figures was completely new to me, but I love what I do.
Here at simfy it isn't relevant how long you stay in the office every day and by what time you have left the building. It's more about what you created though out the day. Of course there are certain structures within the office such as daily working hours and holiday days, but it feels like you are working on something with your friends and actually changing something out there.
During work every one is keen on bringing the company to the next level, but even after work our "football league", Indoor football and water skiing are a part of our collective company activities.
Teambuilding incentives such as visiting a climbing garden are great!

My job is to take care of the back end of simfy. In the end I make sure that all strings are attached between components. But we don't stop there. Apart from working on the product simfy also operates on our B2B partner product integration.
Music streaming is currently the hottest subject in the industry. What I like most about simfy is the relaxed but goal-orientated working environment and the possibility to implement ideas very fast.
Typical for this industry is that requirements flash over and that priorities change faster than finishing off a feature. My job is to keep everything in a healthy working process. Just like every other start-up - don't talk, do it!
The recruiting day was pretty uncomplicated but content-wise challenging. They didn't play any psychological games. In fact it was mainly just theory based questions.
Another great thing is that I didn't have to show up wearing a tie. simfy doesn't really care about a dress code as long as you get the job done.
simfy is a fast moving company. You actually have the chance to create something here and will get the responsibility you need. It inspires me to develop simfy into an international player.
The working environment is great - little formalism, flat hierarchy, interesting and challenging topics and modern technology.
